The Israelites had been awaiting a savior for longer than most could remember. Sometimes I’m sure they felt one would never come. Like Noah awaiting an end to the endless sea, the promise of salvation, whether it came as an olive branch or a tiny baby, completely changes the game. We wait too, in our own way. Let this be your olive branch–a savior is here; now go tell those who have been waiting.
